Over 3,000 Women Professionals to Attend Online Job Fair Exclusive for Women

JobsForHer, the largest platform to accelerate women’s careers, will host its fifth annual flagship event — HerRising 2021, on September 18 online from 9 am.

In its virtual form for the second time after the pandemic struck, HerRising 2021 will have online Career Fair, Conference & Awards for women professionals with participation from over 3,000 women professionals, over 350 Conference Delegates, 50 Companies, over 40 Speakers/Mentors/Coaches, and 20 Career Experts.

Commenting on the event’s importance, JobsForHer Founder and CEO Neha Bagaria said if India wants to hold its position as a global growth leader, more concerted efforts at local and national levels, and by every sector are needed to bring equal participation of women across levels.

“With over 3,000 women and over 50 companies participating in HerRising 2021, it is heartening to note that despite the pandemic after effects, candidates and employers are stepping up to the challenge,” said Neha Bagaria.

Over the last 6.5 years, Neha Bagaria said JobsForHer worked tirelessly to come up with solutions that will benefit women at every such difficult stage of their lives so that they can continue accelerating their careers.

The virtual Conference will showcase discussions and revelations from corporate leaders and will address challenges, opportunities, policies and their inspiring stories catering to the three largest cohorts of women professionals i.e. Women Returnees, Women In Tech, Women In Leadership.

A survey conducted by career-tech startup JobsForHer revealed that in the year 2020, 40% women professionals preferred a blend of home and office working.

In 2021, the percentage has gone up by 10%, where almost 50% of women employees want flexibility in their job, which proves that the future of work is hybrid. And 86% of employers agreed that work-from-home has opened up more job opportunities for women regardless of location.

JobsforHer has partnered with diversified women-friendly companies for HerRising. Representatives from these companies will be present at the Career Fair at their respective booths to showcase their diversity initiatives, inspire, connect and engage with women professionals ready to start, restart and rise in their careers.

Considering the demand for work-from-home roles, there will also be a dedicated booth with companies offering WFH jobs, at HerRising 2021.
