METRO Cash & Carry, India’s largest organised wholesaler and food specialist, launched its first ‘METRO Wholesale’ Distribution Centre (store) at Visakhapatnam.

The new store, which is its 29th METRO wholesale store in India, was inaugurated by Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Mayor Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari along with Arvind Mediratta MD & CEO, METRO Cash & Carry India.

The event was also attended by various government officials, local dignitaries, key supplier partners and senior METRO leadership team in India. The new store is the second METRO Wholesale in the state of Andhra Pradesh after Vijaywada.

The store will cater to over 50000 independent business owners, MSMEs, kiranas, HoReCa, SCOs and those self-employed in Vishakhapatnam.
