Citi Commits Additional INR200 Crore to Support Covid-19

Samsung promises INR 37 crores for India’s fight against Covid-19

Citi and Samsung, leading financial / bankimg services and electronics conglomerate respectively, have pledged funancial support to Indian governments fight against second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.

While Citi announced an additional INR200 crore (US$27 million) pledge over the next three financial years, Samsung has pledged $5 million (Rs 37 Crores) as its contribution to India’s fight against the current surge of Covid-19.

Samsung initiative includes providing donations to central and state governments, and boosting the healthcare sector with essential medical equipment for hospitals, as part of its citizenship initiatives.
