Chennai, NFAPost: Alserv, one of the first tech-powered, non-real estate based, assisted-living service providers for the Elderly in Chennai, has announced the launch of its new subscription plan – Alserv Daily. Priced at Rs 300/month, this new service covers grocery & essential delivery, home-cooked meals, and medicines and healthcare supplies delivery to the elderly, with zero delivery charges.

With this subscription plan – Alserv Daily, the company aims to give the elderly access to three of its five core services. The other two being home maintenance, and concierge services. Since the launch of Alserv earlier this year in January, the startup has seen a 5X growth in its customer base, and is looking at adding more customers by the end of this year with the introduction of Alserv Daily.

Alserv Co-founder and Director Jagadish Ramamoorthy said, “The Pandemic saw more people needing help mainly in buying daily essentials and we have come out with a specific scheme just to cater to this requirement.”

Alserv Daily offers home delivery with zero delivery charges and no minimum quantity requirements. Subscribers can book the orders online via the app or through Alserv’s 24/7 customer care service whenever they need help.

“The last 6 months has been very encouraging for us, and the growth has been good. We believe our tech-based delivery of services at home, at the lowest cost, has been very well received. Alserv Daily is one more initiative from us to cater to elders’ specific requirements at even lower cost,” said Alserv Vice-President, Operations, Atul Jagadish.
